Acceptable Use Policy

• No DNS amplification, reflection, denial-of-service traffic, or attempts to overload the service.
• No probing, scanning, or automated traffic that harms reliability.
• No attempts to bypass rate limits or operational mitigations.
• No use of the service to operate or support malware, phishing, botnets, credential theft, fraud, child sexual abuse material, or other harmful activity.

AdAvoid may apply rate limits, firewall rules, endpoint restrictions, resolver-level mitigations, or blocks when traffic threatens service reliability, service integrity, or other users.

Abuse handling may involve temporary local debug logs under the Privacy Policy debug exception. These logs must be tied to a specific investigation, minimized, access-restricted, and deleted within seven days.

Abuse reports should include the observed endpoint, time range, source or destination indicators when available, a description of the behavior, and a contact address for follow-up.
