Last updated: April 28, 2026
Free Best-Effort Service
AdAvoid DNS is provided as a free public DNS resolver. The service is offered on a best-effort basis and may change, degrade, or become unavailable without notice.
User Responsibility
- You are responsible for configuring your own devices, browsers, routers, and networks.
- You are responsible for deciding whether AdAvoid DNS is appropriate for your use case.
- You are responsible for complying with laws and network rules that apply to you.
No Guarantees
AdAvoid DNS does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect filtering, complete malware protection, compatibility with every network, or suitability for regulated child-safety compliance programs.
Not a VPN or Anonymity Service
AdAvoid DNS is a DNS resolver. It is not a VPN, anonymity network, endpoint security product, or full parental-control system. Encrypted DNS can protect DNS queries in transit, but it does not hide all network activity from every network observer.
Service Changes
AdAvoid may change endpoints, filters, protocols, limits, policies, or availability when needed for reliability, security, operations, or legal compliance.
Abuse and Rate Limiting
Use of AdAvoid DNS must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. AdAvoid may rate-limit, block, or firewall traffic that threatens service reliability or safety.
